MSB began its record of excellence in 1995, when we began providing Medicaid billing services to schools in the state of Maine.  Within a few short years, our reputation of partnering with districts and unparalleled customer service allowed us to procure Medicaid billing contracts with every school district in Maine.  In order to ease the data-handling burden, MSB developed an in-house team of software engineers, and produced our first software solution. 

Medicaid Billing

SeaQuell Medicaid Billing Software was initially used in-house, and then marketed and sold to other Medicaid billing companies in Colorado, Texas, and Idaho.  Between 2001 and 2004, MSB extended its Medicaid services to clients in New Hampshire, securing more than 70% of its school districts as clients, as well as expanding into Massachusetts and Vermont.  Now branded as waypoynt™ Medicaid Administration Solutions, our Medicaid billing partnership with school districts continues to grow as our list of clientele expands throughout the United States.

IEP Development and Special Education Management

Because of our involvement in Medicaid administration in schools, we came to realize the criticality of IEP compliance as it relates to schools, students, and special education administrators. In 2004 case-e® Special Education Management Solution was born, allowing administrators to better develop, track, audit, and report on their special education programs.  After initial roll-out to our New England Medicaid billing clients, the case-e® software was customized and offered to districts in other states, including Texas and Illinois. Today, case-e® provides efficient special education management to school districts in seven states across the country.

Electronic Service Documentation

Our most recent solution, X-Logs™ Service Delivery Tracker, allows service providers to electronically record and report the services they provide to students.  We have found that one of the biggest factors deterring schools from maximizing Medicaid reimbursements is the burden of extra paperwork in documenting service delivery. X-Logs™ eliminates the paperwork, providing an efficient way for teachers and service providers to document their services for both Medicaid billing purposes and IEP compliance. X-Logs™ has completed the testing phase and will soon be offered to our client school districts nationwide as a free complement to both case-e® and waypoynt™.

Continued Growth

Our record of growth over the past 10 years is evidenced by the continual increase of our clientele base and the ongoing expansion of the MSB team.  Our client list has grown to include almost 500 entities in 10 states, and both case-e® and waypoynt™ continue to be tailored to meet the needs of schools in new states. The MSB team has grown from its original founders, Bill & Mary Meroff, to include a staff of almost 50 professionals in several regional offices.  Our goal at MSB is to expand into all U.S. states, continuing to provide our hallmark service to school districts across the country.
